1 - Linkin Park - What I've Done
This is a performance based performance with archive footage incorperated. The video is bookended by a plant firstly receeding into the ground and then at the end growing. When it is receeding into the ground it could show that the human race isn't learning from it's mistakes, but has the capability to do so which is why it shows it growing at the end.
2- Beyonce - Irreplacable
This video is based on reality with an evident storyline, so it is a narrative based performance. Her physical actions match the words of the song, "to the left" is matched with her pointing to the left. The whole performance is filmed with a sepia tint, this could be to give the video a sense of being in the past.
3- Massive Attack - Teardrop
This video is an abstract music video.
